Currently hold the World record for the fastest automatic two stroke single cylinder scooter over the standing start 1/4 mile
 
This was achieved by our drag scooter Red Dwarf at Santa Pod Raceway on 30/05/09 with an elapsed time of 11.9037 seconds and a terminal speed of 108.27mph and backed up with a second run of 11.9760 seconds and a speed of 105.73mph beating the previous holders PM Tuning by 0.06 of a second and 3.59mph. 
 
 
 
Automatic Scooter drag racing in the UK had it`s hayday a few years back when there were upward of 300 entries at meets including the scooter X-Race series where a 13second elapsed time was a great acheivement, however it is making a come back and now there are classes for all types of scooter from 50cc street to the all out Top Scooter class being run in the Straightliners dragbike series.
Of course there have been the stalwarts who have been drag racing and sprinting the geared scooters (often called traditional) such as Lambrettas and Vespas since they first came over from Italy and with great success and impressive times.
The Automatic scooter drag scene is even bigger in Europe having attendances in the thousands, they tend to run highly tuned 70 or 80cc scooters over shorter distances such as 150metres, 1/4mile events and tuned 125/172cc and above scooters are something of a rarity. 
 
       
 
Due to our location approx 7 miles from Santa Pod Raceway most of the events we attend are at this drag strip including the rounds of Straightliners held here, in fact we have won every round in the Top Scooter class in this series since 2007.
All of our testing and development is done on this drag strip often during the many run what ya brung days, which are a public test and tune event open to all vehicles two wheels or four, or at special events such as the extreme perfomance bike weekend.

Update: 06/10/2010.
During Qualifying at the Straightliners meeting on the Extreme Performance Bike weekend at Santa Pod, Blue Dwarf posted personal bests in speed and time running three runs of 12.50 @ 108.47mph (a new track speed record for the class), 12.28 @ 106.68mph and 12.18 @ 107.71mph.

We are constantly developing our engines and set ups, both Red and Blue Dwarf are very much a work in progress and in the coming year we hope to push the times down and the speeds up.
